Event Details
Let's paint a portrait of YOUR pet in an Artist-led class! This class is perfect for beginners, no experience needed!
After you register, email your favorite pet photo to me, your instructor Carla, at paintingsandthingsbycarla@gmail.com and I will sketch an outline and color guide of your pet on a 16x20" canvas prior to class so it is ready for you to paint when you arrive! I use a paint by letter type approach to help guide you through, and I will teach you blending and brushstroke techniques as we go along.
All paints and supplies will be provided, so just bring your and get ready to paint! We will start painting promptly at 6pm, so plan to arrive 10 minutes before start time to find your seat. I will lead you step-by-step through the painting process so you end up with a beautiful portrait of your furry, scaly or feathered friend!
We will be painting in the new Confluence Center! Confluence is a place where art, music, and recreation come together alongside the river to create that place of convergence for the community. So grab a few friends and let's paint together!
