About University City
University City Charlotte North Carolina is the area that contains the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with the residences and businesses that surround it. University City is one of three municipal service districts within Mecklenburg County North Carolina. If this service district were incorporated into a separate city, it would be the 10th largest city in North Carolina. One of the state's largest research parks is located in University City.
