Starting at 12 p.m. on May 26, head over to Sycamore Brewing and appreciate Charlotte’s own lobster and beer fest featuring two stages of live music, craft beer, wine, and Wild Blossom Cider. Not to mention unlimited servings of fresh lobster throughout the day!

The Dry Tri

While some of you enjoy partying all weekend and suffering from major hangovers, others use their free time to burn off a few extra calories. The Dry Tri at the U.S. National Whitewater Center features a one-and-a-quarter-mile paddle, an eight-mile mountain bike ride, and a five-mile trail run. The event starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, so you will even get a chance to participate in the Memorial Day Trail Race the next day if your body can take it!

Memorial Day Trail Race

Start off your Memorial Day weekend by getting some fresh air at the Memorial Day Trail Race on Sunday, May 27. Participants will get to enjoy either a five-mile or an eight-mile run through the woods at the USNWC trail system. The rest of the event will feature live music, outdoor adventures, and fireworks to celebrate this year’s Memorial Day. If you pre-register before May 20, you’ll get a free Recover shirt!

Tiki Party at Howl at the Moon

Kick off your summer party vibes at the tiki party hosted by Howl at the Moon Charlotte on Sunday, May 27. Sit back and relax while enjoying sweet music, $3 Miller Lites, delicious tropical drinks, and an upbeat crowd during this party on Memorial Day weekend. If you’re interested in free admission, all you have to do is wear a Hawaiian shirt to the party! Doors open at 7 p.m.

Charlotte's Big Block Party

Charlotte’s Big Block Party is the perfect event for the whole family, and it’s all for a good cause. Get your tickets for only $5 and you'll also be supporting the American Kidney Fund. The event will take place at the VBGB Beer Hall & Garden and will include DJs, local musicians, and games as well as food and drinks.

Joyfest 2018

Celebrate Memorial Day weekend by going to an amazing Gospel concert featuring live performances from Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbett, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Anthony Brown with Group Therapy, and more. Tickets are available online.

Memorial Weekend at Suite Charlotte

Get ready for one of the year’s craziest day parties in Charlotte. On Sunday, May 27, join fellow partygoers at Suite in Uptown for one final Memorial Day blowout hosted by Blue Goose. Doors open at 4 p.m., and you can enjoy free entrance before 5:30 p.m. by RSVP-ing. Seeing as Suite is usually pretty crowded, this party is sure to become wild!
