The Dance Co-Lab at the Charlotte New Music Festival presents an evening of new music and new dance works created in collaboration by the festival's participant composers and choreographers.
Event Details
The final event of the 2019 Charlotte New Music Festival and Dance Co-Lab will be a treat for both eyes and ears. We’re pairing up-and-coming composers and choreographers to create new works that are more than the sum of their parts. Experience what these dynamic artists can accomplish in two intense weeks of creative work.Featuring...Composers: Jordan Davidson, Philip Ellis Foster, Chase Jordan, Max Johnson, Luis Fernando Ruiz-Pacheco, Hannah Rice, and Nan YiMusicians: David Brooks (piano), Matt Darsey (viola), Erinn Frechette (flute), and Stephanie Wilson (percussion).Choreographers: Emilia Clarke, Sarah Grace Kolmetz, Brenne Forst, Gabby Wehr, Morgan Brockmiller, Vania Claiborne, Sydney Gibbs, Shelby Rambo, and La'Raine Turlington.
