Participants should bring a Letterland Teacher's Guide with them to the training.
Grade 2 Session
Overview Systematically building on previous knowledge, this session develops greater mastery of advanced spelling patterns concentrating on multi-syllabic instruction. Using age appropriate stories and multi-sensory activities with interactive teaching strategies, teachers will be encouraged to help children master these more complex word structures with fluency but also with comprehension.

Memorable experiences to extend word attack skills
Instruction about the 6 syllable types
Systematic approaches for continuing to develop fluent reading and accurate spelling skills
