St. Peter Catholic Church in Uptown Charlotte is the Jesuit Church in Charlotte's Center City. Our parish has been served by members of the Society of Jesus since 1986. St. Peter is the oldest Catholic parish in Charlotte, NC. We are a vibrant, growing community known for heartfelt worship, active lay involvement, and many opportunities for spiritual growth and service. Faith Formation at St. Peter includes education programs for children, high school students, and adults. We strive to educate our parishioners to be men and women for others who are contemplatives in action living a faith that does justice.
