The Big Chill has been creating great meals and memories for more than a decade. Originally, The Big Chill was Charlotte's largest Dinner and Classic Jazz and R&B nightclub hosting such celebrity acts as The Tommy Dorsey Band to John Legend. With such high demand to continually rent out this beautiful venue for special events, owner Darcy Donevan found it difficult to continually book jazz acts due to the conflicts with with hosted events. Giving in to the public's demand, in 2005, The Big Chill became Charlotte's Premier Special Events Venue available for Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, Rehearsal Dinners and Special Events.
