On a spring morning in April, my Dad and I were fishing in the Ouachita River, which runs through my home town of Monroe, Louisiana. We go fishing as often as our schedules allow, which over the past few years hasn't been much due to my career advancing me to Shreveport. When we go fishing, there is usually a lot more talking than catching fish. As the morning progressed, things were quiet as we started down the river bank.
