Thanksgiving Schools Out Pottery Camp

And kids can't get enough of it! No picking pre-made pottery off a shelf to paint here! Each artist experiences the entire process, beginning with wet clay and ending with kiln fired ceramic pieces! They will learn about the history of pottery making and practice rolling coils, building slabs, pressing textures, & try their hand at throwing on the wheel. It’s very exciting to see these kids transform a blob of wet mud into a hand thrown bowl they can actually use! WE provide a NUT FREE snack. Finished & fired pieces are ready for pick up in 2 weeks.
