The Pitchin’ for Wishes Cornhole Tourney offers fun for the whole family at Freedom Park on Saturday, Nov. 2. The 12th annual cornhole tournament has raised more than $1.8 million for local charities and set records as the largest in the world.

The event will also feature children’s activities such as bouncy houses, face painters and a balloon artist. Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers, Homer from the Charlotte Knights, Chubby from the Charlotte Checkers, Lug Nut from the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Ghostbusters of North Carolina will all make special appearances.
A deejay will provide music for the event and food and drink will be available for sale, with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. The event includes a raffle, and this year’s prizes feature a set of tires courtesy of Continental Tire and a set of cornhole boards and bags from Andrew Roby.
Register by Oct. 25 – the entry fee for a two-person team is $70 and goes directly to Make-A-Wish® Central & Western North Carolina. If you prefer to watch, Pitchin’ for Wishes is free for spectators and offers activities for all ages.
