Description
The Leading Ladies Women’s Ministry of World Worship Church would like to invite you to our first Hope and Healing Mother’s Day Tea.
Event Details
This program will focus on finding hope and healing in the midst of the painful trauma of losing a child. The event will start with a time of sharing from our guest speakers, Melissa Harris, and Saundra Adams. These remarkable mothers will share their testimony of loss and how they found hope and healing through it all. Charlotte Garnes, a life coach, and former therapist will also share on the topic from a clinical perspective, offering ways to heal and cope with such loss. This time of sharing will be followed by networking and fellowship during noon tea accompanied with heavy hor d’oeuvres and desserts. We invite and encourage all mothers and grandmothers, who've lost children, to attend this event and offer or gain strength from those dealing with a similar loss. We are reminded in Psalm 147:3 that, "He heals the wounds of every shattered heart". (TPT)
This program is free. However, we ask that you consider making a donation. Donations are greatly appreciated, they will support the event and all other proceeds will go to benefit KinderMourn. KinderMourn is an organization in our community that provides hope for bereaved parents, grieving children, and teens. They offer support and counseling programs, creating awareness of bereavement issues and empowering the community to effectively assist those who have suffered an unthinkable loss.
