Based on the mythology and hieroglyphics of ancient Kemet (now known as Egypt), Kemetic Yoga emphasizes controlled deep breathing and geometrically progressive postures to enhance Self-development and inner healing. Grounded in the YogaSkills School of Kemetic Yoga system, this workshop explores Kemetic principles, practices, and poses as a way to renew mind, body, and soul. Students will acquire a beginner's foundation in Kemetic Yoga and, through forging a deeper understanding of Self, will be able to independently create their own personal Kemetic Yoga practice.

Workshop Curriculum Includes:
History of Kemetic Yoga and its connection to Indian Yoga - Holistic benefits of Yoga practice: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual - Learning Kemetic mythology, philosophy, and the symbolism of the NTR (gods) - Detailed instruction and guided practice of unique Kemetic Yoga poses and sequences - Methods of meditation through conscious deep breathing and awareness of Chakra energy
Certificate of Knowledge
Upon completing the workshop, students will receive an honorary Certificate of Knowledge to recognize their commitment to growth and learning. It will reflect the course topic and the number of education hours invested.

I am Eternity Philops (Tori James), and I am honored to be your guide for this course! I am a certified Yoga teacher in Hatha Yoga under Kiesha Battles and Kemetic Yoga under Yirser Ra Hotep.
